On March 20, I was 330 pounds overweight, had terrible asthma and high blood pressure. A friend told me about this diet, and I got the book, not to say, with skepticism and obviously not enthusiastic about the whole idea of dieting. To my surprise, this is not a diet, but a Lifestyle of healthy eating and living. I am totally in control of my body and it is incredible how easily I can get back to Dukan, specially like I did after the Holidays. I have lost 125 pounds* and what I thought impossible is reachable and happenning now and here to stay. I am a new person. I have always been positive but now I iradiate joy and strength I didn’t have before. In the beginning I was afraid of all the time this process would take but now it’s no worry because I can’t imagine myself eating any other way. It is so easy to say NO to treats that are unhealthy and will take me out of my path, one that actually works longterm. I still have a road to continue, but this one I will take lighter and easier because I overcame the toughest stage.
