I was probably one of the biggest yo-yo dieters in the world. I have tried so many diets in my lifetime only to not succeed. I would lose the weight but then regain it right back. November 2010, I started a diet right before Thanksgiving of all times to start a diet. This diet was using shakes and protein bars. Eat half a protein bar every 2 hours. Then a sensible lean meat supper. I did good with this diet I started at 255.8 lbs. and by May 2012 I weighed 194. I lost 61 lbs. But, boredom set and I started eating again. December 2011, a friend ask me if I have heard of Dukan Diet and of course I haven’t heard about the diet so I went to the Dukan Diet website and thought this sounds interesting.

I bought the book and read the book. I decided I would start the diet Jan. 2nd 2012. The morning of Jan. 2nd I weighed in at 225.8. I thought I have got to get a hold of myself Or I end up like I did in 2006 were I had weighed 250 lost down to 174 and regained all the weight back. My attack phase was calculated for 7 days and I had great results 11 pounds gone! My true weight is calculated at 174 and I had reached my true weight near the end of May. As, I was reflecting back I do not see how I could ever have reached my true weight With what always seemed of regaining and losing the same 2 lbs. over and over. Well, I did it! It took me awhile to adjust to the weight loss. My mind was still seeing the old me in the mirror. And, it took good month to see the difference that I have conquered! I am in consolidation and happy to report that my lowest weight is 165.6. And after my celebration meal I fluctuate anywhere from 167-169 .

But, always back down to 165 in time for my next celebration meal. My total loss is 90.2 lbs. And, my total Dukan Diet weight loss from Jan. 2nd 2012 is 60.2 lbs. This diet is the easiest diet I have ever been on. I recommend this diet to everyone. Best thing about Dukan Diet is not STARVING.I also did the recommended walking f or my excersize and in April 2012 I ran my first 5k. I can not thank Dr. Dukan for sharing this diet to the world.

The advice I’d give to other « Dukanians »: Do not give into temptation! It really isn’t worth it. Afterall, once you hit your true weight your reward will be waiting for you.
