My weight has been creeping up since I reached my 40’s and I could not get it under control. For the last 2 years, I trained and ran a half marathon and walked many miles to prepare for the Susan G Komen 60 mile walk. With all that training I was putting on weight instead of losing it. In December 2011, I learned about The Dukan Diet from a friend who had lost 40 pounds on the plan, so I looked into it.
I read the book and prepared myself to start January 7th, 2012. One of the best things for me is my husband decided to join me and started a week later. We have had each other for support, which has made this so easy. I have learned that I do not need all the junk in my diet and I really do not miss it. Thanks Dr. Dukan!!
