I started the lifestyle change on October 31, 2012 and lost 40 pounds by mid February 2013. I have managed to go through the 3rd stage and keep my weight off. I am 46 years old but feel like a teenager again. I hated being in photos previous to the weight loss but now I smile in every picture.
My favorite support Dukan food: I make the Dukan Galette and top it with smoked salmon and a poached egg. If it is a veggie day, I also add Mache and Heirloom tomatoes – this makes the whole breakfast or supper complete.

The nicest compliment I’ve been paid: You look better than you did in high school
What keeps me going: My 5 year old son – I find that when I eat healthier, I make better choices for him too.
The advice I’d give to other « Dukanians »: Get into organic and locally grown foods. I am now growing my own friuts and veggies in the backgarden. Learn to love to cook and create. walking is a great stress reliever – try farmer’s markets close enough to home to walk to.
