My fiancé and I have been together for going on 9 years. When we first met, out of high school, we were of normal weight. Throughout time and getting comfortable, we literally GREW together. 🙂 Unfortunately, one day, we both realized that enough was enough. A colleague that I worked with was doing the Dukan Diet and I watched him shrink before my eyes. Having tried other diets before (with no luck), I was skeptic of any diet fads. Because I saw his results before my eyes it really motivated me to give Dukan a try. My fiancé and I started January 16th of 2012. By January 16th of 2013 we had both lost 80 lbs. Before we started the diet we both agreed that if we could each lose 50lbs we would go on a trip to Mexico to celebrate our accomplishment. Not only did we meet your first goal, but we surpassed it! I, personally, have 25 lbs. to go until my total goal. This diet changed my life. Not only do I feel better about my body, bu t my health has benefited as well. I feel like this diet not only gave me the tools I needed to reach my goal, but I learned so much about health and nutrition along the way that I feel like the teachings from the Dukan Diet will help me keep the weight off and maintain a healthy life style for the rest of my life. If you want it, you can do it. And I wish you success.

The advice I’d give to other « Dukanians »: Just try it. Get creative with your ingredients. You’d be surprised that you can cook your favorite foods, only in a healthy way.
