My sister in law and my mother are responsible for my Dukan adventure. They both lost 25 pounds on the Dukan Diet last year. Due to Uterine Fibroids and the adjustment of getting older, my metabolism slowed down, and even though I thought I was working out enough, I gained a total of 35 pounds. I was in denial, and finally took care of myself. I had a hysterectomy in September of 2011 and was concerned I’d gain even more weight.
I gained a total of 10 extra pounds between September and November. Finally my mother begged me to try at least one week of the attack phase, so I did, and lost 7 pounds! I have found this diet to work very well for me. I admit I was crabby in the beginning, but I am so excited that I am now only 5 pounds away from my goal. Thank you Dr. Dukan and mom for giving me my life back!

The advice I’d give to other « Dukanians »: Stick with it. If you follow the diet you will lose the weight.
