I started in September 2012 and wanted to lose 20 lbs. By Thanksgiving I lost 23 lbs. Then I just continued to lose weight until I stopped at about 43 lbs loss. I was a size 14 for over 15 years and now I am size 8. Nine months and I continue to keep it off. Never fluctuating by more than 1-3 pounds. I have definitely cut my sugars and carbs, but pretty much eat heartily 6 days a week and protein 1 day a week. It is such a motivating diet and it works.

My favorite support Dukan food: Oat Bran. I don’t like the pancakes. I just add water, microwave for 2 minutes, add a tad of skim milk and eat it like hot cereal.
My Dukan treat: No-fat vanilla Oikos Greek yogurt. I use to hate yogurt, but I love the vanilla.
My favorite form of exercise: Walking
The nicest compliment I’ve been paid: You look 10 years younger.
What keeps me going: It’s easy to keep the weight constant once you’ve lost it just by weighing yourself daily, eating the oat bran, doing protein once a week, and cutting back on sugars and carbs.
The advice I’d give to other « Dukanians »: Follow the book exactly and it works great and fast too. The results keep you at the right weight because you feel so good about yourself you never want to go back to the old weight.
