As of today, I have been on the Dukan Diet for nearly 14 months and I have lost over 80 pounds! While this weight loss method is not for everyone, I must say it has worked well for me! I am near my True Weight and getting ready to shift from the Cruise Phase to the Consolidation Phase. I have found the program to be nearly effortless and honestly, I have rarely been hungry. To say that this weight loss has been life-changing is to understate (hugely!) the effects of this massive weight loss. I have more energy, my lipids are under control for the first time in 15 years, I have lost 38 (!) inches, have dropped from 2X – 3X to size 10, and I feel fantastic! I have read Dr. Dukan’s book cover-to-cover. It is inspiring and it explains the plan completely in language you can understand. It is a program for a lifetime of change.
